Winter
Hamburg is not cold enough. Wandering through the streets and plazas downtown the wind lightly nips at the ears and tugs at the hair. I want the castigating blast of Calgary's winds - the screaming invective delivered from the lips of a mountain that drive you back inside watery-eyed and red-nosed. You miss the strangest things about home when you have been gone too long from it.
