The Mysterious Beach Ball

A beach ball was mailed to me yesterday. Painted like a skull, with really great hand-drawn lettering, it is a bit of a mystery. The postmarks read "San Francisco". Which of my crazy friends (or enemies ;) sent this?

My bet is Julian.
