OSCON 2003

Another year, another OSCON! :) This year's iteration is being held in Portland, Oregon from July 7-11.

David is going to be presenting a tutorial on the new features that we have added to MySQL in the last year or so, and Peter Gulutzan will be doing a session on "MySQL and Progress Towards the SQL [...]

My OSCON proposal was accepted. Also, I am lucky to have a session that I will co-present with Monty on grokking the MySQL source code.

My own session is a three-hour tutorial on building applications that protect sensitive data. A good part of this tutorial is based on ideas from Peter Wayner's rather excellent Translucent Databases [...]
