FrOSCon 2008 Call for Papers Now Open

David Roetzel from the FrOSCon organization team just wrote to let me know that the FrOSCon 2008 call for papers has just opened.

MoFo Weekly Report 2007-11-02

Most of this week focused on events and task triage. I was holed up in a small, comfortable hotel in Slovenia with good Net access. This, combined with a chest cold, kept me nicely focused on doing lots of small tasks.

Speaking at FrOSCon 2007

I just received word that my proposal (which was to present my Age of Literate Machines presentation) for FrOSCon has been accepted.
I'm pretty excited - the event should be fun and it will give me a good chance to see friends (including a good number of my German MySQL colleagues)
