After flying from Stuttgart to San Francisco, I am fried - however, it was an interesting trip.
I sat next to a gentleman named Ashok - a half-Belgian, half-Indian attorney. This was a funny coincidence, since you could say that I am also half-Belgian, half-Indian. However, to be more accurate, Ashok is half-East-Indian and I am better described as a mut^H^H^H hybrid… :) Additionally, across the aisle from me was another Zak.
The flight from Stuttgart to Munich got pretty bumpy, but the flight from Munich to San Francisco was uneventful.
Passport control and security was fine in both the Munich and SFO airports - I was stopped by a lot of people in SFO, but was not delayed too long.
The only frustrating thing so far in this trip is getting into the hotel for the PHP Con and finding out that they do not have network access. As well, the staff have no idea what is going on with the PHP Conference - oh well, can't fault them for knowing about as much as I do about the event. :)
Anyway, off to sleep now.
