New Blog Design
After many months of being dissatisfied with the look of my blog, I finally got around to the pleasurable proactive procrastination of redesigning it.
The major changes are focused on readability and accessibility - the layout has been simplified (and should now work better with screen readers), the font size has been increased to help those with reduced vision and the general feel of the site has been opened up. Additionally, the site should now display sensibly in text-only browsers or browsers that don't grok CSS.
The new design also uses John Tenniel's wonderful illustration of the Mad Hatter. Like many great parts of our culture, it is in the public domain.

I like it! I like the old-skool print feel. One suggestion: a little more whitespace/padding between elements might make it feel a little less busy.

Hey Zak, that's a really nice design. Using illustration from Mad Hatter is a brilliant idea.
I agree that needs some padding adjustment. Also you should check it under IE, especially under article section (although I don't like IE, is still used by a large majority ;)

I'll have to find a Windows machine to test on - not surprisingly, I just tested on Linux and Mac browsers. :)

So shamefull …
The bad thing with RSS is that i no more "quick read" blog in their layout , and i simply didn't notice that blog post and that layout.
Zak, i simply love this redesign. I must say, i usually like all your redesign but this one is awesome ! (kindof what i would love to be able to do … )
