My aunt Ruby passed on yesterday
Early in the morning she experienced a major stroke and passed away a day later. Behind her, she left my uncle Don, her children and their children, and the rest of her kin.
I knew that her health had been frail for years, her heart beating out of time with the rest of her, but all that I remember is a small dear woman with broad crinkly-eyed smiles and straight-straight silver-grey hair.
My heart goes out to Don most of all. If Mandy died, I would feel like a ghost in my own life.
Cousins and kin, you hold dear to that old man. He must need you now more than you can imagine.
