This Week

Travelled to Munich and Nuremberg
Attended the Muenchner Kreis Open Innovation Event in Munich.
- Polished and gave presentation. Presentation was well-received (though I was disappointed, as is often the case.) Posted slides to slideshare.net - http://www.slideshare.net/zakgreant/open-innovation-open-source-lessons-learned-in-the-mozilla-community
- Participated in panel with Dr. Heinrich Arnold, Deutsche Telekom AG Laboratories; Dr. Götz-Philip Brasche, European Microsoft Innovation Center; Dr. Nelson Mattos, Google Switzerland; Dr. Ralf Schremper, Bertelsmann AG; Stephen Wolak, Vodafone Group R&D; Helmut Wörner, Controlware GmbH; and Stefan Doeblin, Network Economy S.A.
- Met a good number of interesting business and academic leaders. Followed up with conference participants.
Visited Richard Seibt to discuss the Open Source meets Business Congress, the Open Source university, the Plat_Form awards and the Open Source Business Foundation. Put the various relevant project teams at Mozilla in touch with people at these projects
Misc. Followup with participants from the Go Open events. General events planning work. Light work on contributor agreement. Bits of FOSDEM followup.
