MoFo Weekly Report 2007-11-09
This week focused on events and event planning.
- Caught up with Mary Colvig (after missing our bi-weekly events call) to discuss upcoming events and our events strategy for 2008. We focused on the events listed in last week's report.
- Worked on expanding the Age of Literate Machines to provide additional focus on the importance of the network and the Mozilla Manifesto. Wasn't ready in time for the keynote at the Intl. PHP Conference.
- Attended and keynoted the International PHP Conference.
- made some additional international contacts, along with commitments to discuss Mozilla advocacy in their areas in the future.
- I was happy with the reaction to my keynote. More than a dozen attendees found me after the presentation to discuss further or to thank me for the talk.
- Received a few rough grant proposals. Am working to help the proposers clarify their requests.
- Little bits of gardening on the MoFo private wiki.
- Traveled from Slovenia to Germany then back home to Vancouver.
- OS Summit Asia postponed.

Super Zak,
It's kind of amazing and bewildering how much you do. At least next week is almost guaranteed to be less busy than this last extravaganza. What is Slovenia like this time of year? It's starting to feel like these days you casually keynote a world changing convention on the way home from the dry cleaners.
Your friend and fan,

Hey Julian!
Can you be a fan of someone who is a fan of you? ;-)
I'm hoping to do a bit less but to be more effective. :)
Slovenia is lovely this time of year. It was a bit rainy, but really quite nice.
Cheers!
