I don't believe it's not email

I am working my way through Getting Things Done by David Allen and a very strange thing has happened.

The inbox in my email client is empty

I feel like that time when I got a minor concussion from being repeatedly punched in the head.

My inbox hasn't really been empty in about seven years…

Of course, it is only my work inbox. There are still some 500 unread emails in my private email to deal with, but still this is a very good start.
